Shots Fired In Hartford’s North End

Police are investigating after a half-dozen shots were fired at the corner of Magnolia Street and Albany Avenue.
Detectives were investigating mid-day gunfire outside several businesses on busy Albany Avenue, police said. No one was injured.
Officers were called to the scene at the corner of Magnolia Street about 2 p.m. Tuesday after the city's ShotSpotter system picked up six shots, police said. Albany Avenue was closed in the area as police collected evidence. A half-dozen or so shell casings were marked off in the parking lot.
The department's Major Crimes Division detectives, as well as members of the Shooting Task Force, were called to the scene.
