Hartford Police: Fast-Food Fight Leads To Shots Being Fired

July 27, 2017

An argument at a fast-food restaurant led to shots being fired at a home in the South End of Hartford Thursday, police said. No one was injured.

The ShotSpotter gunshot detection system alerted police to a shooting in the area of 65 Bushnell St. at 12:22 a.m. Officers found shell casings in the road and bullet damage on the siding and a window of a home, police said.

The residents told police that they had been targeted. They said they had been involved in an argument with a group of people at Wendy's, 90 Airport Road, and members of the other group followed them home and fired the shots, Sgt. Luan Bojka said.

The shooter or shooters fled in a white or silver, four-door sedan. The car was a Honda or an Acura, Bojka said.
