Tom is a partner at City Light Capital, an impact investing venture capital firm that invests in early stage companies in the areas of safety/security, education technology, and energy/resource efficiency. Formerly CEO of first Tyden Group and then Viking Group, Tom has 24 years of operational leadership experience in the safety and security space. He was also Chairman of Minimax-Viking GmbH following the merger of Minimax and Viking. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Cornell University, and member of the Board of Endeavor Detroit. Tom holds a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
