Sr Full Stack Developer
Shotspotter is looking for a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer to join our growing and talented team and help build and maintain complex applications for investigative case management. This role requires strong technical and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting and with cross functional teams. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented, has good problem-solving skills, is innovative, and is comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with a team of developers while ensuring your own personal work is completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Maintain code integrity and organization, while modernizing and maximizing efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in Java using the following technologies is required: Java/JEE, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, JSP, JSTL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, XML Struts, Spring
- Experience with Java Web Frameworks/ Spring Boot
- 2+ years of experience with JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue and KnockoutJS
- Experienced in Agile development practices
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Great attention to detail, nothing gets by you
- Effective oral and written communication skills are required
