ShotSpotter Bolsters Executive Team with Veteran Government Programs VP
Santa Clara, CA – January 31, 2006 – ShotSpotter, Inc., the leading developer of gunshot location systems and technology for law enforcement and the military, today announced that Gary Holladay has joined the company as Vice President of Government Programs, and will be the customer-facing lead for all government projects.

Strategically located in Huntsville, AL, Mr. Holladay will be ShotSpotter’s primary interface, requirements and technical project management lead and contract representative for ShotSpotter on all new government contracts. He will head up the company’s patent portfolio, oversee patent prosecution, and manage patent process with counsel, and Mr. Holladay will also be heading up government-related R&D, outsourcing and manufacturing.

Mr. Holladay has over 24 years of experience in embedded processor-based product development for a wide range of applications, including ultra-wideband (UWB) radar, GPS navigation systems, mobile satellite terminals, radar environment simulations, remote server management, and PC data communications.
As the Director of Radar Systems for Time Domain Corporation, he managed a product development group, captured new business, and architected “through-the-wall” surveillance radar systems (including system design, embedded software, algorithms, and hardware subsystems) for military, DARPA, FBI, and police applications.
Mr. Holladay successfully managed several military projects with the U.S. Army and personally led multiple winning proposal teams for prime contracts with the U.S. Army and Air Force, as well as subcontracts from major U.S. defense contractors. Most recently, Mr. Holladay was a director with Avocent Corporation’s Embedded Solutions group where he developed, marketed, and integrated embedded technology for remote server management with the world’s leading computer and blade server manufacturers including IBM, Dell, Intel and NEC.
Mr. Holladay earned his MS in Electrical Engineering / Digital Signal Processing from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
