PEORIA — Seven shell casings were found in front of a vacant house in South Peoria on Monday.
At about 5 p.m., Peoria police officers were sent to 2307 W. Starr St. after the ShotSpotter gunfire detection system indicated several shots. When they arrived, officers found seven shell casings in the street and what appeared to be a bullet strike on the house. However, a neighbor said that had been from a previous incident.
No arrests were made Tuesday.
