Job Responsibilities:

Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery and integration of ShotSpotter technology and services into the customers’ operational and tactical work environment. It is expected that a focus be continually placed on process improvement in an effort to exceed customer expectations on a consistent basis. Travel is required at least 50% of the time. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations.

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously through detailed planning, record keeping, and interaction with both the customer representatives and internal Engineering and Operations resources.
  • Implement ShotSpotter “best practices” on a consistent basis in order to achieve operational excellence and deliver the highest level of customer support and implementation services.
  • Work closely with both Sales and Engineering representatives to define specific customer requirements prior to initial deployment. Ensure that the customer requirements and the final delivered ShotSpotter technology solution are in fact one in the same.
  • Provide “cradle to grave” Project Management to include solution development, technology delivery, testing, integration, training, customer acceptance, and follow-on customer support and maintenance.
  • Provide assistance, as required, in developing professional responses to RFP's, RFI's, RFQ's and other client and prospect inquiries
  • 6 to 8 years directly related Project Management, experience including at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

  • Military experience and/or law enforcement experience considered a plus
  • Project Management certification (PMI or PMP) preferred

Special requirements:

Candidates must be a US Citizen and should either possess or be willing and able to obtain a security clearance should it be required.
