Josh Cohen
Mr. Cohen is a Partner of City Light Capital, where he manages their venture capital portfolio companies, is the interim Director of Business Development for Enforsys, Inc., and sits on several for profit and non-profit Advisory Boards. Mr. Cohen has also been the Director of Corporate Development for Mobility Electronics. In this role, he was responsible for the purchase of synergistic assets from CNF, investments in 2C Computing and Portsmith, a joint development to create automatic backup for universal docking and the acquisition of Magma. Prior to joining Mobility, Mr. Cohen was an investment banker in the technology group of Deutsche Banc Alex Brown in San Francisco. Mr. Cohen contributed to several public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, including Extensity, WebEx Communications, Mobility Electronics and the sale of yesmail.com to CMGI. Mr. Cohen graduated as an Angell Scholar from the University of Michigan.

Stuart Davidson
Mr. Davidson has been investing in early stage companies for the past 17 years. He is a managing partner of Labrador Ventures. Mr. Davidson is active on the board of directors at ezboard.com, Intruguard Devices, Jangl, NextHop Technologies, and Sentinel Vision. In addition to his investment experience, Mr. Davidson was president of Alkermes, Inc. and also worked for MCI Communications and for Warner Communications. Mr. Davidson is a graduate of Harvard College (1978) and Harvard Business School (1984).

Randy Hawks
Randy focuses on security solutions for both the digital and physical domains at Claremont Creek Ventures (CCV). His years as Executive Vice President/COO and Director at Identix are the foundation of his interest in this area of investment. Randy’s strong background in IT includes serving as CEO and Director of Captiva Software, various senior management positions at Texas Instruments, ITT Information Systems and Sr. VP at AT&T Paradyne. He has also held directorships at Clairvoyant Software, Hipbone Software, Inapac, Invivodata, Flytecomm, View Central and Be Here. Currently Randy holds a board seat at three of CCV's portfolio companies. Randy earned a BSEE from University of Arkansas and has completed the Stanford University Executive Management Program. He serves as the Venture Committee Chair for Keiretsu Forum.

Gary Lauder
Gary Lauder is the Managing Partner of Lauder Partners LLC, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm investing primarily in information technologies.  He has been a venture capitalist since 1985 investing in over 60 private companies.  He is also Chairman of ICTV Inc., a developer of interactive television technology for cable and IPTV.  Other directorships: Promptu, Integra5 and ShotSpotter.  Investments are primarily in cable television/IPTV technology and WWW arenas.  In the 1980’s, he worked at the venture firms of Aetna, Jacobs & Ramo Technology Ventures, as well as Wolfensohn Associates.  He holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania; a BS in Economics from the Wharton School; and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.   In 1997 he was chosen to become a member of the inaugural class of Henry Crown Fellows of the Aspen Institute, at which he is the co-creator of its Socrates Society with Laura, his wife. He has had a working cable modem (usually) in his home since 1994, the same year that Upside Magazine named him one of the top 100 “builders of the information highway.”  He is co-inventor of 9 patents, has spoken at over 70 industry forums and, since 1992, has published several articles about the future of the cable industry…that he still stands by.

Pascal Levensohn
Mr. Levensohn is the Founder and Managing Director of San Francisco-based Levensohn Venture Partners LLC, which he founded in 1996, and focuses on investing in early stage software, semiconductor and communications companies. Mr. Levensohn also serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Consolidated IP Holdings, Inc., which holds rights to various intellectual property portfolios in the telecommunications industry. He is also a director of Ubicom, Inc., a microprocessor company that develops processors specifically architected to deliver multimedia content for the digital home, Reconnex, Inc., a provider of security appliance solutions for electronic risk discovery, Akros Silicon, a fabless semiconductor company bringing managed power to the network edge, and Veraz Networks (NASDAQ: VRAZ), a leading provider of VoIP solutions.  Mr. Levensohn received a BA in government from Harvard University and is a graduate of the Lawrenceville School.  Mr. Levensohn is a director of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Remigius Shatas
Remingius Shatas is an entrepreneur and inventor who organized Cybex Computer Products Corporation in 1981, which had a successful IPO in 1995.  He ands his former partner, Robert Ausprey, formed RNR Ventures, LLCX, a seed  capital company in 1998.  In 2000, they left Cybex to co-found 2C Computing Inc., which was sold to Avocent Corporation in 2002.  Mr. Shatas is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Rymic Systems, Incorporated. He holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Thomas Groos
Thomas Groos is a partner of City Light Capital, a venture capital firm involved in the security, media and industrial sectors.  He is also Executive Chairman of the Viking Group of Grand Rapids, MI, a global supplier of fire protection systems.  Prior to becoming Chairman in 2007, Mr. Groos served as Chief Executive, President, and various other positions at Viking spanning a 24 year period. During his tenure the company evolved from a one location, USA based manufacturing company to a global manufacturing and distribution entity with 45 locations across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Revenues and profits grew by more than 50 times during his tenure with the company. Mr. Groos was also involved in the Tyden Group, a holding company for several security product companies, serving as Vice Chairman of its Board of Directors. A graduate of Cornell University and Columbia Business School, he developed an interest in manufacturing and operations during college summers working in construction, a machine shop and a foundry. He started his business career at WR Grace Company in Corporate Finance. Today he serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army of West Michigan and on the Board of the Deming Center for Productivity and Competitiveness at Columbia.  He is a guest lecturer at Grand Valley State University Graduate School of Business and Columbia Business School.

James Beldock
Mr. Beldock, an experienced turn-around entrepreneur and R&D executive, joined the ShotSpotter team in early 2003.  Since he joined, the company has tripled the size of its customer base and more than quadrupled annual bookings. ShotSpotter is his third venture-funded or private equity-backed company, and he has raised in excess of $50m for companies he has led.  Previously, he acted as chairman and CTO of WebPutty, an enterprise software company subsequently acquired by Charles River. Prior to joining WebPutty, Mr. Beldock was Entrepreneur in Residence at SAC Capital where he performed turn-around and portfolio operations work at other portfolio companies. Previously, as president and CEO of Cogito Software, a company he founded in 1994, Mr. Beldock  delivered software and managed technology projects for well-known institutions including Princeton University and  New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. He holds patents in the fields of computer memory hardware, Internet business methods and information security and has published peer review articles in fields ranging from medical informatics to user interface design.  He is a cum laude graduate of Yale University and has studied Computer Science at Columbia University. In 2001, Mr. Beldock was recognized as one of the country's leading executives under the age of 45 when he was named a Henry Crown Fellows of the Aspen Institute. He is active philanthropically and a member of Business Executives for National Security (BENS). Major General (Ret.) Steve Siegfried
Steve Siegfried serves as Vice Chairman for ShotSpotter and provides input in the areas of military applications and homeland security; he is also a key spokesperson for the company. Major General Siegfried was the first director of homeland security for South Carolina, a capacity in which he served from 2001 to 2003. In that role he was responsible for all aspects of civil and homeland defense for the state, acted as South Carolina’s liaison to secretary Tom Ridge in the Department of Homeland Security, and chaired the Homeland Security Council for the state. Major General Siegfried enlisted in the Army in 1961, rose to the rank of Sergeant, attended Officer Candidate School and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant of Infantry. He subsequently rose to the rank of Major General. He commanded Ft. Jackson, SC from December 1991 until March 1994. His last assignment was as the Deputy Inspector General, US Army. He retired in 1995 after 34 years of service, but was recalled to active duty in 1996 to serve as the chair of the secretary of the Army’s Senior Review Panel on Sexual Harassment.
